You earn 2 coins for every minute of completed focus time, and Premium doubles that to 4 coins per minute. Streaks, daily challenges, weekly goals and the daily login bonus all award coins on top. Premium also adds an ad-free bonus after sessions of 30 minutes or more.

Pets evolve through 3 stages: Baby up to level 5, Young from level 6 to 9, and Adult from level 10 onward. You earn 2 XP per minute of focus, and the pet's appearance changes at each stage transition. Levels keep going past Adult — a level 12 pet represents roughly 75 hours of focus. Only focus time raises a pet; coins buy new pets and cosmetics but never levels.

You can protect your streak with a Streak Shield. Shields can be earned by watching a rewarded ad, or Premium subscribers can use them without ads. Once a shield is active, a missed day won't break your streak.

Your focus sessions, pets and progress are kept on your device, so the timer keeps working when you lose signal. An account is required to use the app, and a connection is needed for the leaderboard, friends, shared focus rooms, cloud backup, ads in the free version and in-app purchases.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), not by us. To cancel: on iOS, go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. On Android, open Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

Progress lives on your device, so reinstalling without a backup loses it. Sign in with the same account and restore from your cloud backup, or back up manually under Settings → Backup & Restore. We recommend doing this regularly.

Go to your device's Settings → Notifications → Focus Pet and toggle them off. You can also manage individual notification types within the app under Settings.

The Pomodoro technique is a time management method: work for a focused block (typically 25 minutes), then take a short break. Focus Pet ships presets of 1, 5, 15, 25, 30, 45 and 60 minutes, and you can set a custom length. Shared focus rooms use 25, 45 or 60 minute blocks with 3, 5 or 10 minute breaks.

There are 8 soundscapes. Rain and Forest are free for everyone. Café, lo-fi, fireplace, white noise, pink noise and Tibetan bowls are Premium — or you can unlock them individually with coins from the Shop.

Yes. Open a shared focus room and others can join the same session in real time. The host arranges the room and everyone sees the same space while the timer runs. Rooms use 25, 45 or 60 minute focus blocks. You can also add friends, compare focus time and climb a weekly leaderboard.

Six: English, Turkish, German, Spanish, French and Portuguese. The app follows your device language and can be changed in settings.
