Privacy Policy

Focus Pet does not require an account and does not collect or store any personal information on our servers. All app data — focus sessions, coins, pets, tasks, habits, preferences — is stored locally on your device using device storage (AsyncStorage).

The following data may be collected by third-party services embedded in the app:

• Advertising identifier (IDFA / Ad ID) — used by Google AdMob to show relevant ads (free version only).
• Crash data — may be collected to help diagnose app issues.
• Purchase receipts — processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) for in-app purchases; we do not see your payment details.

We use information solely to:

• Operate and improve the Focus Pet app.
• Show relevant advertisements to free users (via Google AdMob).
• Process premium subscriptions and coin pack purchases.
• Send local push notifications for tasks and pet reminders (only if you grant permission).

The free version of Focus Pet displays ads powered by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier to show personalised ads. On iOS, we request your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before any ad personalisation occurs.

You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time:

• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable for Focus Pet.
• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID.

Upgrading to Focus Pet Premium removes all ads entirely.

Focus Pet offers optional premium subscriptions (monthly and yearly) and coin packs, processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive or store your payment information. Subscription management is handled through your platform account settings.

• iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions.
• Android: Google Play → Subscriptions.

Focus Pet may send local push notifications to remind you about scheduled tasks and your virtual pet. These notifications are generated on-device and do not involve sending data to our servers. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

All app data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate backend servers that store your personal information. You can export and import a local backup from within the app (Settings → Backup).

Because data lives only on your device, uninstalling the app will permanently delete all your progress unless you have created a backup.

Focus Pet is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@mooderbaylabs.com and we will take steps to delete such information.

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

• Accessing the data stored about you.
• Deleting your data (uninstall the app to remove all local data).
• Opting out of personalised advertising (see Section 3).
